This policy explains how the TnT Group QuickBooks Connector (the “App”), operated by TnT Group, handles data from QuickBooks Online.
We access only the QuickBooks Online data of companies whose administrator has authorized the App, using Intuit’s Accounting API. By default, access is read-only.
We store the company’s QuickBooks company ID and the OAuth tokens Intuit issues. These are kept on a server we control, with access restricted to administrators. We do not keep a copy of the company’s accounting data. Data is fetched from QuickBooks when a question is asked and is not retained by the App afterward.
Data is retrieved only to answer questions from users that company has authorized, through the AI assistant those users choose to use (currently xAI Grok). The parts of a response the assistant receives are subject to that provider’s own terms. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.
All connections use HTTPS. Each company is reached through its own endpoint and requires its own secret credential. Server access is limited to administrators.
When a company disconnects the App in QuickBooks, or asks us to, we delete its stored tokens. To make a privacy request, contact us at the address below.
